Eric lives in the Howard, WI area and enjoys maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle and is regularly at the Howard YMCA in the early mornings before coming into the office. Eric is a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and also enjoys watching the Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers. Other hobbies include golfing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and attending concerts. In the past, Eric has been a volunteer as a board member of the Mediation Center of Greater Green Bay as well as an Ambassador of Current Young Professionals. Eric is currently a board member of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin and a member of the Financial Services Institute. Eric grew up in Kewaunee, WI and graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1995. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and minor in accounting at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 1999. In June of 1999 Eric began working as a financial advisor with an independent financial planning firm in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Eric spent the next nine years learning the business of financial planning while working on a team with another advisor. Eric had a desire to be closer to family and friends in Northeast Wisconsin so he relocated back to the Green Bay area and began working with SII investments in March of 2008 under the office of Olson Associates. Shortly thereafter Eric earned his certification in July 2008 to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ PROFESSIONAL or CFP®. In October 2012 Eric took over the practice of Gene Olson from Olson Associates. In January 2015 Eric relocated the office to the current location on Riverside Drive and renamed the office Vision Investment Planning Group. Eric primarily works with individuals, families and small businesses.
